Drawing from two vials in a protocol
When the vial you're drawing from does not have enough left for a full dose, you can finish it from a second vial. The app splits the draw between the two vials and counts both down.
Start from Today
The Active inventory rail sits at the top of Today. A low vial turns pink and shows how little is left.
Your KLOW dose is due just below. Tap Log dose to take it.
Choose the low vial
When you log the dose, pick the low vial under Taken from. It can't cover a full dose on its own.
The app tells you how much more you need and offers to finish the dose from a second vial. Tap Split across two vials.
Add the second vial
The app finishes the dose from another vial of the same compound. If you have more than one, you choose which.
A Second vial row appears. The one you started with is now labeled First vial.
Check the draw plan
Scroll to the draw plan. It shows the total and how it splits between the two vials.
Draw everything left in the first vial to empty it. Then draw the rest from the second. Tap Log dose once you have drawn from both.
Review the logged dose
Open the logged dose. The Taken from card lists both vials and how much came from each.
Each row shows 2 mg and 0.1 mL, the two halves of your 4 mg dose.
Open the vial's history
Open either vial from that log. Its History records the dose as a split.
The entry shows how much came from this vial and notes it was split with another.
